Digital security in companies: Protection, strategies and solutions with Axsos AG

Digital security as a strategic success factor

Today, a successful cyberattack costs more than just money—it costs trust, time, and, in the worst-case scenario, business operations. Ransomware can encrypt in minutes what took years to build. Phishing emails can fool even experienced employees. And vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure often go unnoticed—until it’s too late.

If you really want to protect yourself, you don't need a product. You need a strategy that addresses technology, processes, and security awareness within the team in equal measure.

What Threats Do Companies Face, and What Does Effective Protection Look Like?

Today, companies face a wide range of complex threats. Ransomware attacks encrypt data and paralyze entire production environments. Phishing and social engineering target employees in order to steal login credentials. Insecure cloud configurations and internal misconfigurations further expand the attack surface.

A real-world example illustrates the scope of the issue: A medium-sized manufacturing company had its operations restricted for several days due to a targeted cyberattack. Production processes came to a standstill, resulting in delivery delays and financial losses. In such a situation, it is no longer just the response to the attack that determines the extent of the damage, but above all the ability to maintain business operations. An established Business Continuity Management (BCM) system makes it possible to ensure that critical processes continue to function despite an outage or to restore them quickly. At the same time, a structured Incident Response Management system helps contain the attack and minimize consequential damage.

Effective protection therefore requires a multi-layered security approach that incorporates technology, processes, and people in equal measure.

Practical protective measures for companies

Axsos' SecurityCheck 360 systematically analyzes a company's entire security landscape. A structured IT security audit identifies vulnerabilities, assesses risks, and provides concrete recommendations for action.

A Security Operations Center monitors IT systems around the clock, detects attacks early on, and initiates countermeasures. Managed Security Services ensure that protection and monitoring are maintained at all times.

In the event of an attack, every minute counts. Axsos' Incident Response Team responds quickly, minimizes damage, and restores operations.

Every access attempt is verified, regardless of its source or network. Encrypted data transmission, secure configurations, and multi-factor authentication are standard in modern cloud environments.

Axsos supports companies in implementing NIS2, obtaining ISO 27001 certification, and meeting industry-specific compliance requirements such as the GDPR or BaFin regulations.

Employees are the first line of defense. Regular security awareness training reduces the risk posed by phishing and social engineering and instills a culture of security awareness throughout the company.

Structured risk assessment, preventive measures, and targeted ransomware prevention make it possible to allocate resources where the threat is greatest.

Cybersecurity Solutions and the Use of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligenceis changing the way companies approachIT security. AI-powered systems detect anomalies and suspicious behavior in real time, even before traditional security measures can respond.Axsosintegrates AI technologies into its security solutions to defend against threats more quickly and precisely.

Incident responsebenefits significantly from AI: response times are reduced, attack patterns are automatically classified, and countermeasures are initiated without manual intervention.Predictive analytics also make it possible to detect potential threats before any damage occurs. This is at the heart of modern ransomware prevention.

ASOCis the operational heart of moderncybersecurity. It monitors networks, systems, and endpoints around the clock. Axsos’Managed Security Servicescomplement internal IT teams or take over security operations entirely—in a scalable and cost-effective manner.

TheNIS2 Directiverequires companies in critical sectors to adhere to higher security standards.Axsosprovides structured support forNIS2 implementation: from the initial assessment and gap analysis to documentation and certification underISO 27001.

SecurityCheck 360is Axsos’ structured analysis tool for a comprehensive assessment of the security landscape. TheIT security auditevaluates technical infrastructure, organizational processes, and employee security awareness, and provides prioritized recommendations for action.

Technology alone is not enough.Security awarenesstraining teaches employees how to use digital systems safely, raises awareness of phishing attacks and social engineering, and instills a culture of security that strengthens the entire company.
